Privacy Policy
Last updated: 11 June 2026
1. Who we are
archived is an artwork inventory service operated from Australia and available at archivedonline.com. This policy explains what information we collect and how we handle it, in line with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and, where it applies, the EU and UK GDPR.
2. What we collect
- Account information. Your name, email address, and profile photo, provided through our sign-in provider when you create an account.
- Content you add. Your artwork records, images, and any contact details you choose to store. You are responsible for contact details you keep about other people; we only store them on your behalf.
- Server logs. Standard technical logs, including IP addresses, kept by our hosting providers for security and reliability.
3. How we use it
We use your information only to provide the Service, support you, and keep the Service secure. We do not sell your personal information, share it with advertisers, or use it to train AI models.
4. Where it is stored
We rely on a small number of providers to run archived: Clerk (sign-in), Vercel (hosting and image storage), Turso (database), and Cloudflare (domain and network services). Your data may be stored in the United States and other countries where they operate.
All traffic is encrypted with HTTPS and your records are only accessible from your account. Uploaded images are served through unguessable links that are never published, but anyone holding a direct link can view that image.
5. Cookies
We use only essential cookies, such as the ones that keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
6. Retention and deletion
We keep your information while your account is active. You can delete individual records at any time, and you can request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us; we will complete it within 30 days.
7. Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and the built-in CSV export lets you take a copy of your records yourself. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to us, to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, or to your local data protection authority.
8. Changes and contact
If we make material changes to this policy we will give you notice through the Service or by email; the date above shows when it was last revised. For any privacy question or request, contact us at support@archivedonline.com.
